Meeting new people is exciting but you should always be cautious when interacting with someone you don’t know. Always prioritize your safety first, whether you are exchanging initial messages or meeting in person.
There are things you can do to help you stay safe during your Reha experience. With the right preparation, connecting with someone new is perfectly safe.

Try to keep the conversation on the platform while you are getting to know the other person. It is tempting to move directly to Whatsapp, phone chat, and email but refraining from sharing too much of your personal information such as your home or work address until you get to know the other person.

Never send money or share financial information
Under no circumstances should you ever send money such as wire transfers. Do not share your financial information such as banking details and bank account information. If another user asks for such information, report them immediately. Be cautious of any type of user that says they are stranded outside of their home country and need money in order to get home.
